Hello! I’m Taylor and these are my dogs, Sirius & Angus. Let me share with you the story of how Sirius Dog Care Tillsonburg came to be!

Dogs have always been significant a part of my life. I currently have two Dobermans and have years of hands-on experience caring for and handling dogs of various temperaments. Growing up, my family often had multiple dogs, and we frequently boarded friends’ dogs in our home—so there were always extra paws around.

In 2021, we rescued our dog Angus (Gus), who came with his own set of challenges and taught us to adjust our expectations of an adolescent dog. I took the lead in his training, working closely with our amazing trainer to help teach us how to develop Gus into a well-adjusted member of our family. Working with our trainer I was taught patience, consistency, and how to better understand the behaviours of dogs. With the guidance, Gus grew into a happy and well-adjusted member of our family.

In 2022, I brought home a puppy, Sirius Black, who quickly became Gus’s best friend. Raising and training Sirius gave me even more hands-on experience, from fostering socialization skills to developing strong routine based care.

Though I grew up in Hamilton, I moved to Tillsonburg in 2023, and Sirius made the move with me. My parents are my main support system for Sirius when my partner and I travel or work at the same time. Knowing that they care for Sirius and meet her every need eases my mind.
